A worm count is really a worm egg count (also known as a faecal egg count). A small sample of dung is prepared using a centrifuge and examined under the microscope to find out how many worm eggs are present. You cannot see them with the naked eye. Use this test to monitor your horses worm burdenand use the results to plan your worming strategy.

How To Use
An easy to read information pack and worming record card are included with your kit. The kit contains a sample pot and label, plus a glove for sample collection.
After collecting the sample, use your postage-paid and pre-addressed envelope for posting your sample to the lab. Make sure you include the voucher for laboratory processing of your sample.
Don't forget to post the voucher with the sample!
