As this treatment of pregnant bitches is 98% effective, puppies from these bitches should themselves be treated with a 3 day course at 2 and 5 weeks of age with Panacur 2.5% or 10% Liquid Wormer or Panacur Paste. Treat the bitch at the same time at the routine adult dose rate (i.e. 100mg/kg as a single dose).
Pregnant cats can be safely treated with Panacur Granules but only require a single treatment at the routine adult dose rate, as there is no pre-natal transfer of worm larvae in the queen. Administer 100mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lb) bodyweight as a single dose.
